But he was not yet so Phenomenautical, but rather a mere Silver Sprocket Bike Clubber (which was more than enough to impress Max, kicking off a bromance for the ages). It was our last date of tour, so we gave Eoin our leftover confetti with explicit instructions on when to throw it at the next show. -D¢ Eoin and I did indeed begin a truly extraordinary bromance that night. I got lost after the show for a while... in his eyes... Anyway, we impressed all the punks because we were staying in a really posh London neighborhood. (Our hotel had champagne waiting for us in the room but we switched to a champagne-less room because Annie and David were rightfully wary of sharing a bed with future drunk Max. The new still only had one bed though). David kept asking all the Brits about UK healthcare, as he had been doing the entire tour. One kid said he loved it and then told us about how he got jumped by a bunch of skinheads. He then said he was outside of our hotel once, protesting some rich bastard who no doubt was growing fat on chilled champagne and caviar. Also, Annie made a hipster sad at the start of the show. - MAX
