• Pirate Jenny is the name of a song from “The Threepenny Opera.” The song is told from the perspective of a barmaid/innkeeper named Jenny, who fantasizes about a pirate ship attacking her town and helping her exact violent retribution on all the patrons who treat her badly.
• Sally Bowles is a secondary character from Christopher Isherwood's “The Berlin Stories,” whose role was increased in subsequent adaptations. She is described as an aspiring actress working in a seedy nightclub who dreams of becoming famous or seducing a wealthy man. “Mein Herr” is Sally's introductory song from “Cabaret,” the film version of the musical based on Isherwood's stories.
