Memories

I had work, so I had to go straight from Philly back to NYC, but I met up with people in Richmond. At least that was the plan — when my first leg of bus pulled into Baltimore, Sara, Max, & Co. were still lazing about town, so I hopped off on impulse, and Sara picked me up. We all drove down to Richmond, where Max decked himself out fabulously at various thrift/vintage stores. I think I spent most of the show hurling Laura Cramer into people. -D¢

I ate the best sandwich of my life before this show. Strange Matter rules! Also, the Siffernator's front flip of the PA was great. - Sbenj

Before the show began [Leeah Swift] and I were hanging out at my VCU friend's apartment while Spats grabbed a nap. VCU had just had some kind of sports-related victory and the students were getting rambunctious, so [Swift] and my friend's roommate went out to watch the “rioting”; a while later the roommate came back alone saying [Leeah Swift] took off running into a cloud of tear gas. Of course she was fine and got to the show even before Spats and I did. And then Spats gave another friend of mine a lecture about catching stage divers; the friend is still afraid she'll kick his ass if he screws up. - Zanne
